The Black Stars have beaten Portuguese club side Olhanense 3-0 in their pre-AFCON friendly match played on Wednesday afternoon.
The team who are currently camping in southern Spain, travelled across the border to face the second tier side in a match that marked Coach Avram Grant’s first competitive game.
Everton winger Christian Atsu opened the scoring with his 20th minute strike before debutant Kwesi Appiah added the second to give Ghana a 2-0 lead to end the first half.
After changing the entire line up in the second half, striker Jordan Ayew added a goal to the tally to give the team their first pre-tournament friendly win.
The Black Stars will play their second friendly against German side Freiburg before travelling to Equatorial Guinea for the 2015 AFCON which will start in January 17. GFA
