The Forestry Commission of Ghana confirms that on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the newly constructed accommodation for timber checkpoint personnel at Babatokuma in the Kintampo Forest District in the Bono East Region was vandalised and burnt by an irate mob.
