Indian President Visits Ghana on Sunday

Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee (MU/KE/JI) will pay an official visit to Ghana on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

The visit which is part of a two-nation African tour will take him to Côte d’Ivoire.

While in Ghana, President Mukherjee will hold discussions with President John Dramani Mahama after which a number of agreements will be signed between the two countries.

President Mukherjee will also visit the University of Ghana, the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT and address a Business Forum.

Additionally, he will visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and plant a tree at the Flagstaff House to signify the strong bond of friendship between India and Ghana.
