GHANA move three places up in the FIFA rankings as the September edition of the rankings released today sees the Black Stars jump to 33rd.
The Black Stars, who were positioned 36th in the previous month now have 661 points after picking a win and draw in the qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations over Togo and Uganda this month.
The Black Stars are still fourth on the continental table. Algeria remain on top.
World champions Germany continue to lead the way ahead of Argentina.
