Uber’s Chief Brand Officer Pays Working Visit to Ghana

Accra, December 21, 2017//-Uber’s Chief Brand Officer, Bozoma Saint John has paid a working visit to Accra, Ghana to familarise herself with the company’s operations in the West African country.

During her visit, she met with members of the Uber West Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa team, Driver-Partners, Policy Makers and select guests at selected events.

The Uber West Africa team was indeed pleased to have her onboard and happy that she was able to visit the country especially since she had spent time growing up in Ghana.

During her visit, Bozoma visited the Uber Greenlight Hub in Accra; a high-tech, world-class support facility for driver-partners.

She spent some time with driver-partners and also took a tour of the Accra GLH. On driver-partner engagement, Madam John affirmed that she felt inspired both by the drivers she met and the impact Uber has made in their lives.

John believes Uber is one of the most exciting companies in the world right now because of its extreme growth and what has happened in such a short amount of time.

She is excited about the growth opportunities in Ghana and the rest of the African continent. She believes that there is much potential within the region, because Uber provides an accessible means for entrepreneurs to become small business owners, thereby helping to improve the lives and futures of individuals, families and communities.
