Johannesburg, South Africa, August 28//-A 20-member South African business delegation departs for Mozambique today where their companies will showcase their products and services in the 53rd edition of the Maputo International Trade Fair, commonly known as FACIM which is taking place from Monday 28 August to 3 September 2017.

This was said by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies ahead of a two-day Outward Trade and Investment Mission to Lusaka, Zambia from 24-25 July 2017.
The 2015 edition of the Economic Report on Africa (ERA), “Industrialising through Trade”, has been launched by Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Arkebe Oqubay, Minister and Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, during the Conference of African Ministers of Finance and Economic Development in Addis Ababa.
A shortfall of about 500 megawatts of power and the projections for additional power demand in Ghana has attracted more than 20 proposals from the US, Germany, Denmark, India, China, South Africa, Turkey, Brazil and others to invest in the country’s power sector.
