Sexual Harassment: Foreign Donors Stop Grants, Donations To Nigerian Children Home

Abeokuta, Nigeria, March 14, 2018– Reverend Isaac Oluwole Newton-Wusu, the Director of Stephen Children Home, located in Abeokuta the Ogun State Capital, Wednesday, disclosed that foreign agencies have stopped grants and donations to the college because of allegation of sexual assault against him.

The Director of the Home, also known as Voice of Martyrs, told the Magistrate Court sitting in Odeda, Odeda Local Government Area of the state during a defamation case against staff of the college.

Newton-Wusu had dragged three staff of the college; Zingak Nengak Desh, 38, Austin Akinpelu, 51, and Saude Daniel Dogo, 39, before the court alleging defamation of his character.

The embattled College boss accused the trio of defaming him with a video titled, ‘Persecuting The Persecuted’ on Internet platform known as change.com, where he (Newton-Wusu) was alleged of having carnal knowledge of female students of the Home.

Newton-Wusu who was a witness in the case, had during a cross examination by the counsel to the defendants, Atanda Ibrahim said he received financial support in dollars from foreign donors to run the college.
