The website of the Government of Ghana, www.ghana.gov.gh has been hacked.
It is not clear who carried out the hacking, but the Deputy Minister of Communications, Ato sarpong, told Accra-based Citi FM that efforts were underway to recover the site.
“I’m unable to say the cause of the hack at this moment but when you go on the site, you will see that it’s been hacked. It will take you to a different place.”
The latest hacking is certain to revive concerns by internet security experts on the security of government internet infrastructure.
