
Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama has nominated Pamela Graham as the new Auditor-General. If approved, she will become the first female Audit-General in Ghana.
The nomination, formally communicated to the Council of State by the Secretary to the President, is in accordance with Article 70(1)(b) of the 1992 Constitution and awaits the Council’s advice before a final appointment is made.
The Council of State is expected to review the nomination and provide its advice in the coming days to facilitate the formal appointment process.
Academic background
Pamela Graham obtained her PhD in Business Administration from the IPAG Business School, France, from 2020 to 2023.
Master’s of Business Administration, Manchester Business School (UK), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana
(ICAG) 1997 – 2003, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast (Ghana).
