African Leadership Academy – Note to the attention of the Editors

African Leadership Academy would like to issue a correction on the runners-up results for the 2017 Anzisha Prize. At the gala awards on 24 October, the 1st place runner up and 2nd place runner up positions were swapped. We apologise unreservedly to both of the award recipients, Edgar Edmund and Victoria Olimatunde, the rest of the Anzisha 2017 finalists and all our stakeholders and supporters. We take leadership and integrity as core values, and have worked with our supporters to address the mistake. As such, for 2017, there will be two 1st Runner Up prizes, and both Edgar and Victoria will receive the value of the 1st runner up award of $15,000. Each is an exceptional young entrepreneur, and we look forward to continuing to support their progress.
