The Black Stars will look to book a ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire when they face Madagascar, Angola and Central Africa Republic in the qualifiers.
Ghana per their FIFA ranking were placed in Pot 1 of the draw.
Ghana will face Madagascar in their opening game of the qualifiers before taking on Angola and Central Africa Republic.
The three teams paired with Ghana missed out on the previous edition and will be battling it out for one of the two tickets to qualify for the main tournament next summer.
Ghana will face tough opposition from Madagascar and Angola in the qualifying round.
Central Africa Republic may be the minnows in this group but can also cause an upset.
South Africa legend Radebe, who helped out in the draw tipped Ghana and Angola to qualify from the group. He also indicated Madagascar may be the third force in the group to pull a surprise.
Ghana last won the title in 1982 in Libya and have gone about three decades without winning the title. The Black Stars were eliminated from the group stage of the competition in January in Cameroon.
The journey for a fifth AFCON title will start in June.
