
Ghana’s President John Mahama has nominated a new slate of Ambassadors and High Commissioners to represent Ghana across global posts.
Among the prominent figures nominated are former Minister and respected economist Mona Helen Kabuki Quartey, who has been tapped to head Ghana’s mission in the Italian Republic, and seasoned energy expert Dr. Kwame Ampofo, designated for Hungary.
Also included in the list are veteran politician Paul Evans Aidoo, heading to Kenya, and former Deputy Speaker of Parliament Magnus Kofi Amoatey, who has been named Ghana’s envoy to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Atta Kojo Choi, the Ambassador-designate for South Korea, was brought to Ghana at the age of 14 and has since lived and naturalised as a Ghanaian.

The Presidency has instructed relevant agencies to initiate the formal processes to facilitate the appointments.
These nominations are expected to undergo further vetting and confirmation procedures in line with constitutional protocols.
