2021 AFCON Qualifiers: Ghana Stays Top with Perfect Record after Sudan Win

Cape Coast, Central Region, Ghana, November 12, 2020//-Ghana maintained a 100% record in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a resounding 2-0 win over Sudan on Thursday. 

Captain fantastic Andre Ayew grabbed a superb double to hand the West African giants the win in an empty stadia in the coastal town of Cape Coast.

The win ensures the four-time African champions kept a perfect record at the top of group C with maximum nine points from three games, six clear of second-placed South Africa, who battle Sao Tome and Principe on Friday.

Ghana, who were without injured Arsenal star Thomas Partey completed the job in style, thanks to two sumptuous strikes from the Swansea City forward.

Ayew, again, grabbed the headlines with two brilliant strikes for the Ghanaians in each half to propel to side to another win.

The Black Stars travel to Omdurman for the second leg on November 17.
