Undersea Fibre Cable Cut: MultiChoice Ghana Apologies To Its DStv and GOtv Customers

Accra, Ghana//-MultiChoice Ghana Limited has apologised to its numerous DStv and GOtv customers for the inconvenience caused by the multiple fibre optic cable cuts undersea.

 

The challenge has led to more than a week of internet blackouts across Western and Central Africa particularly Ghana, Nigeria, and Liberia, among others.

“Due to multiple outages on undersea cables, we are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues which has impacted your streaming experience, our call and payment options. While this is out of our control, we are working closely with internet providers to mitigate this where possible”, Alex Okyere, Managing Director, MultiChoice Ghana said in a statement.

In the interim customers may visit our branches in Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Sunyani and Tamale to pay subscriptions, reconnect accounts and for speedy resolution of all challenges. Alternatively, customers may also visit our over 300 Accredited Dealer shops countrywide for assistance”.
