Tony Lithur Begs Public for Privacy as He Ends Years of Romantic Marriage with Nana Oye

Mr and Mrs in good times

Accra, Ghana, June 13, 2018//-One of Ghana’s leading legal practitioners,  Tony Lithur has made an emotional plea to the Ghanaian public to give his family some privacy as they go through a “painful” and “difficult” divorce process.

Mr Lithur who is the husband of Nana Oye Lithur, the immediate past Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, is asking the public to tone down on their ongoing divorce matters.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, 13 June 2018, Mr Lithur stated: “My attention has been drawn to the publication on social media of the docket copy of a petition for divorce I have filed against Nana Oye Lithur at the Divorce and Matrimonial Division of the High Court, Accra, and some pictures of us.

“While acknowledging the existence of the filed petition, I would like to say that the process is an emotional and difficult one for us and our children.

“I would, therefore, very respectfully and humbly, ask the general public to kindly give us, our children, and loved ones some privacy to deal quietly with this painful stage of our lives”.
