Nigeria: 135 Cases and 2 Deaths from COVID-19 Confirmed in Nigeria

Abuja, Nigeria, March 31, 2020/ — As at 11:15 am 31st March, there are 135 confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and two deaths in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which made this known, explained that on the 31sth of March 2020, four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria.

Highlight 
• Till date, One hundred and thirty-five (135) cases have been confirmed, eight cases have been discharged and two deaths from COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria
• Of the four(4) new cases reported on the 31st of March, three(3) are in Osun and one(1) in Ogun State.
• All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.
• A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
