MTN Unveils Promo to Mark Ghana’s 60th Anniversary

MTN Ghana has unveiled another promotion dubbed MTN Big 60 Promo to reward its customers on MTN Just4U platform to mark Ghana’s 60th anniversary this month.

Ghana is the first black African country to throw off the yoke of British imperialism on 6th March 1957.

Launching the promo in Accra, Acting Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Ghana, Richard Acheampong said: “As Ghana prepares to celebrate its 60th anniversary independence, we reflect on our beautiful heritage and consider how far we have come as a nation and the road that remains to be traveled”.

Ghana remains a symbol of hope for Africa in many ways. As the leading telecoms service provider in the country, MTN Ghana strongly identifies itself with Ghana’s attribute of being a trail blazer, according to him.

“In our own space, MTN Ghana has remained a pacesetter, being the network of choice for Ghanaians, with the widest coverage, the greatest selection of digital services, running on a state-of-the-art network that includes mobile 4G LTE service”.

“We are indeed proud to be operating and serving this great nation’,  Mr Acheampong stated.

In view of the Ghanaian pride and celebrations attached to the month of March, he stressed that MTN Ghana was proud to introduce the MTN Big 60 promo which brings exciting rewards to the customers on the MTN Just4U platform.

To this end, from 1st-31st March, Mr Acheampong said the company would be rewarding its valued customers with plenty goodies including free Uber rides, birthday cakes, and watch movies at Silverbird cinemas in Accra and West Hills malls.

“We understand that as we celebrate independence, our subscribers have a lot to communicate about. The massive investment we have made in our network makes communications easy for our subscribers and places us well on the path to fulfill our vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world to our customers”, he emphasised.

“As we launch this promotion, we look to the flag of Ghana, which we have hoisted high today, commemorating the blood of those who died in the struggle for independence, our mineral wealth, our rich forests and the star of freedom”.

Mr Acheampong used the occasion to assure customers of MTN’s commitment to Ghana’s development saying “As we begin to celebrate 60 years of Ghana’s independence we are ever more determined to fulfill our mission of making our customers’ lives brighter”.
