MTN Promo: Cocoa Farmer Hits GH¢200,000 Jackpot

A 65-year-old cocoa farmer from Assini-Jakai in the Central Region on Wednesday won the GH¢200,000.00 grand prize of the MTN M’ahiti promotion in Accra.

Joseph Enchil who took home the grand prize including other prizes promised to use part of the money to treat his wife who has been struck by stroke for some years.

Other prize winners who received GH¢ 20,000.00 were Ebenezer Ayitey Nunoo, Theodore Klu, Benard Kudadzi and Emmanuel Mensah .

While over 50 subscribers won Samsung S7 and IPhone 7 phones; and each day throughout the promotion, airtime was distributed, with customers winning airtime worth GH¢ 100,000.00. If you are unlucky with jackpot from the mtn promotion. The M’ahiti promotion is an innovation that was launched on 31st January, 2017 to give customers the opportunity to win fantastic prizes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

With the aim of empowering customers to enjoy great digital experience, MTN rewarded promo winners with 4G-enabled smartphones that underscore its vision to lead the delivery of a bold new digital world to our customers.

The M’ahiti promotion involved participating in an SMS trivia game and was conducted with authorization from the National Lottery Authority. The National Lottery Authority (NLA) also supervised the draws week on week.

In a speech the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Ebenezer Asante, expressed gratitude to all the customers who took the time to participate in the M’ahiti Promo. He said: “As MTN grows and achieves more successes as a business, we are keen on sharing our achievements with you, our valued clients. After all, you are the reason for our existence”.

“We are intensely aware that our subscribers have always been, and remain, our greatest asset; that is why we share the benefits of our business with customers. It is also why we come up with innovative ways of making our customers’ lives brighter”.

Mr Asante added that beyond promotions that reward their customers, they take delight in also giving back to the communities through the MTN Ghana Foundation.

Since the inception of the Foundation in 2007, it has impacted four million beneficiaries through education, health and economic empowerment projects, according to him.

In a short message, the grand prize winner, Joseph Enchil said he would use the money to build a house and invest part into his cocoa farming.

He used the opportunity to thank the management and staff of the MTN Ghana for the honour him and the other winners.
