What MTN Ghana CEO said
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh commended all the award winners for their dedicated service to the company.
He said: “Let me also add on to the compliments that have been given to the award winners. To all MTNers and our stakeholders, what you have done is nothing less than a mark of passion, dedication and perseverance”.
“This should serve as a model to all our colleagues. Especially, in this post IPO era where public interest in our business has intensified. MTN Ghana sincerely appreciates your commitment and endurance”, Mr Adadevoh added.
“It has been a long journey full of both challenges and opportunities but through it all, you discharged your duties with excellence”.
Mr Adadevoh used the occasion to “thank all our stakeholders for your unflinching support over the past two decades. We will continue to count on your support and commitment to the MTN brand in the coming years”.
Customer care remains key
In her welcome address, the Customer Service Executive of MTN Ghana, Mrs Jemima Kotei Walsh said: Customer Care remains at the core of our business. Indeed, the nature of our business reaffirms the adage that the customer is king”.
“Today, we are here to reward you our stakeholders for your sincere partnership in maintaining excellent customer service”.
Naturally, we cannot speak of customer service excellence without taking cognizance of the immense contribution of staff at all level. It is their dedication to quality customer service that has sustained the MTN business over the past 20 years, she noted.
“The significance of this award is that it gives a new face to our Closed Loop Feedback Awards which until today was internally focused. We will recognise our stakeholders as well as staff who have distinguished themselves in their area of service”.
MTN Ghana has always provided our staff with a healthy and competitive environment to create a culture of excellence. This, together with many others, differentiates us from all others, Mrs Walsh said.
