Accra, June 21, 2017//- MTN Ghana has partnered Lenovo, new owners of Motorola Mobility LLC  to launch its latest smartphone device, Moto z onto the Ghanaian market.

The company  said the new phone is Powered by “Moto Mods” ecosystem which allows case accessories to be magnetically attached to the device to provide additional functionality. The Moto Z’s chassis utilizes a metal frame and body; with no accessories installed, the device is only 5.2 mm thick.

The Moto Z handset is robust, affordable and comes with 2700 Mh turbo power long-life battery, 2.15 Quad-core Processor, 4GB RAM +32GB ROM, Dual rear camera and 13MP/5MP Hd Camera, according to officials of Lenovo Ghana.

Speaking at the General Manager for Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, Noel Ganson said: “The Moto Z is the fifth handset MTN is introducing this year and there are many more in the pipe line”.

He added: “As the leading mobile service provider in Ghana with a vision to lead the delivery of a bold new digital world, we deem it our responsibility to set the digital agenda, and coupled with that responsibility is the need to ensure that customers can enjoy a variety of affordable devices on the market”.

“Our appreciation of our customers’ needs leads us to the knowledge that access to data and data-related services keeps them better connected, more efficient and productive and well entertained”.

To support the launch of Moto z, every customer who purchases the new phone will enjoy 2.5GB data bundle every month for six months from MTN Ghana, according to Mr Ganson.

He therefore urged the customers of the telecom network to take advantage of the newly launched phone to improve their data experience.

The country manager of Lenovo Ghana, John Peters Adekpe, described the Moto z as the world’s thinnest smart phone made of military aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel.

Moto z likes other Moto products is water resistant with a longer battery life span,  and a brighter picture quality, according to him.

Mr Adekpe stressed: “We take quality very serious. Our products are of high quality and distinguishable from others”.

“Our devices don’t crack, don’t fear and don’t fear gas as well”, he added.

Mr Adekpe was confident the Motorola products are here to dominate the Ghanaian markey, saying the Moto brand of products would provide the greatest set of innovations which for years have been missing in the smart phone industry.

The products which range from Moto c, Moto e 4Plus, Moto g 5 Plus to Moto g 5.
