
Accra, Ghana, April 26, 2019//-MTN Ghana has introduced another innovative device dubbed MTN Smart Feature Phone for low-income earners, housewives, and other underprivileged members of the Ghanaian society.
The smart feature phone powered by the KaiOS, a proprietary operating system is also an ideal device for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the West African country.
Users of the phone can now have access to exciting and beneficial apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Google maps. It is a dual SIM Android Smart phone operating on 3G internet speed, with Quad-core high speed Processor, an internal memory of 512MB.
The MTN Smart Feature phone has 5MP rear & 2MP front camera so, “selfies” are still a possibility and with a double LED flash, users’ dark nights (lights out) are less challenging when they have to find their way around.
Launching the device in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh noted that; “with the launch of the MTN Smart–, our customers no longer need to worry about cost when it comes to choosing between feature phones and smartphones”.

Mr Adadevoh said: “We are offering the MTN Smart feature phone at an unbeatable price of GH₵ 150.00 with free 500MB data bundle monthly for six months, this is in direct consonance with the business declaration of the year as the ‘Year of the Customer’.
