MTN Ghana Addresses SMEs’ Connectivity Hurdles

Sam Addo General Manager for MTN BusinessMTN Ghana’s vision of delivering a bold new digital world to its clients has been boosted following the introduction of Eazifon device for individuals and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the country.

 The Eazifon which is a Fixed Wireless Terminal is alternative to the traditional landline fixed phone; it comes with the properties of a fixed phone, without hassle of cabling and infrastructure. What individuals or SMEs need to do, is to insert their MTN SIM Card into the Eazifon handset and it is ready to be used.

Launching in the innovative device in Accra, the General Manager for MTN Business, Sam Addo said the newly launched innovative device would support the activities of SMEs that while ensuring that they remain connected to their customers and businesses associates in real time.

MTN Business believes that the Eazifon will transform the way SMEs and individuals conduct their business activities.

The Eazifon device which he said comes in three variations: the Eazifon plus with extensions, Eazifon corded and Eazifon cordless give customers the option to purchase the Eazifon at a go or pay monthly fees under a postpaid contract.

Mr Addo explained: “For a fixed monthly fee, Eazifon device offers customers a bundle package with many fantastic features, which include: free minutes to talk time at a lower tariff; free SMS monthly; free closed User group calls between existing/new users and contract postpaid lines; and plug-and-play headsets that can easily be disconnected and reconnected if you relocate your home or office and extra handets/extensions that can be sued in the home or small office”.

 

Just like a regular mobile phone, you can top up your Eazifon anytime you run out of credit although it is a postpaid service, he stated.

 

Since its establishment, MTN Business has been providing cutting edge solutions to optimize business performance across key sectors of the economy, Mr Addo noted that they had developed several products, including connectivity solutions, mobile voice, internet and messaging, Data centre services, Business Applications, security solutions and Hosted private Branch Exchanging (PBX) solutions to suit the needs of businesses in Ghana.

Mr Addo used the occasion to invite businesses to explore the variety of products and services customized by MTN Business for SMEs in Ghana.
