Infoboxx Introduces 24hrs Online TV & Magazine

TV setAn online media, Infoboxx Media Group has officially launched its online magazine and television channel that would serve Ghanaian viewer with a wide range of options in news, lifestyle, culture, entertainment, current affairs and more.

 The launch which was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra was to bring information, news, education and entertainment to the doorsteps of Ghanaians via the internet.

The Chief Executive of Infoboxx Media Group, Chris Moyer in a short speech indicated that the Infoboxx TV is a traditional online TV channel that provides quality programme content to suit viewers at all level.

He noted that people can be challenged with their busy schedules that sometimes deny them to access vital information at certain times, adding that “with the internet you can access information 24 hours unlimited”.

Mr. Moyer added that though the Infoboxx TV is performing the same functions as the traditional TV in terms of content, the online TV channel is adding more, since it is not limited by roles like the traditional television stations.

He said the Infoboxx Media Group main aim is to give people useful information,  but in entertaining way, “the besides the online magazine, Infoboxx daily which is regularly updated and in real time, also has an online TV channel, Infoboxx TV, which offers insightful documentaries, quirky reviews on what’s trending on social media and exclusive interviews with celebrities”.

He observed that even though people are interested in information, they don’t like to spare their time to read, adding that Infoboxx Media Group has package the information in an entertaining and interesting forms to suit the individual.

As part of plans to be Africa number one online TV destination that empowers the mind, a film school had been opened to that effect to train upcoming youth in modern trends of the media landscape.

Though computer illiteracy rate in Ghana is high, patronage of Infoboxx Media Group since its inception February this year in the country had been encouraging, Mr. Moyer noted.
