Ghana’s COVID-19 Caseload Reaches 13,203 with 70 Deaths

Accra, Ghana, June 19, 2020//-The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has claimed 70 lives in Ghana since the outbreak of the disease on 12th March, this year.

Ghana Health Service (GHS) which announced this also revealed that the country’s total caseload rose to 13,203 from 12,590 after the addition of 274 new cases today.

According to the GHS, patients died of the disease, bringing the total death toll to 70 from 66 in the 17th June 2020 figure.

The GHS also added that the active COVID-19 cases increased to 8,585, while the total recoveries also rose to 4,548.
