The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is undertaking planned and emergency maintenance works across selected communities in six regions from October 26 to October 30, 2026, as part of efforts to improve power supply reliability.
The works will affect parts of Accra East, Accra West, Tema, the Central Region, the Volta Region and the Ashanti Region.
According to the maintenance schedule, the activities involve technical and network interventions aimed at upgrading electricity infrastructure, repairing underground cables and improving the reliability of power distribution.
The exercise forms part of ECG’s ongoing maintenance operations to address faults and strengthen its network across affected operational areas.
Residents and businesses in the communities concerned are advised to follow ECG’s official updates for specific locations, dates and times of any planned interruptions.
