Ghana: ECG Finally Releases Load-shedding Timetable

Accra, Ghana//-The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has finally released the much-awaited load-shedding timetable to manage power interruption that will characterise the tie-in of the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point to Ghana Grid Company’s 330Kv transmission lines in Accra.

The exercise which will start from Monday, May 10 and Monday, May 17, 2021 will affect supply to customers in the north-eastern parts of country’s capital city. It is expected to see the complete shutdown of the 330Kv line of the Mallam Bulk Supply Point (BSP), according to a press release issued by the company.

The areas to be affected include Dansoman, Bubiashie, Mallam, Odorkor, Mamprobi, Pokuase ACP Estates, Sakaman, Laterbiokorshie, Sowutuom, and Abeka La Pas
