Dubai: Dr Genevieve Pearl Named As One of the Titans of Africa

Dubai, UAE//-Africa-Dubai Investment Business Summit & International Honors has named a leading Ghanaian banker, Dr Genevieve Pearl Obuobi as one of the Titans of Africa.

Titans who are making great impact on the African continents were selected and profiled. Some of these Titans included Dr Mishra, Chairman and founder of Mediheal Group of hospitals who is represented in over 10 African countries, Dr Ahmed Salawudeen, President of The Standard Group of Companies  and also Chairman of Signature Global Estates and represented in about 3 countries across Africa and also the UK.

Michael Vanderpue of M & C Global in Ghana and having presence in over 10 African countries as well as the US, and Dubai was also recognised as one of the Titans and Mr Baafi of Bsystems in Ghana and Dubai was named including many more Africans such as Vusi and author and business mogul from South Africa, Coumba Dioukhane,from Cote D’ivoire ,Tima Jaber ,CEO  TIMA Designs were all named as proud TITANS of Africa.

The event was organised by William Stenhouse of the UAE Africa Networking Group in partnership with DCOM Designs, Vikas Bhargava.

The award ceremony honoured many Africans contributing in diverse ways across Africa and the world, especially in the Middle East.

Commenting on her recognition as a Titan of Africa, Dr Obuobi dedicated the award to all African women, saying: “Let’s collaborate more, pull each other along and impact our space as leaders of our time and set the pace for hope and greatness for those looking up to us. Let’s continue to make Africa proud!”

The Titans of Africa awards which climaxed two-day Africa-Dubai Investment Business Summit brought together 54 countries, great speakers across borders to Dubai to talk on the theme-‘Closing the investment Gap, One Vision Ended’.

Meanwhile at the gala night that crowned the two-day Africa- Dubai summit awarded Dr. Genevieve Pearl with the Africa-Dubai Global Honours Award of the year for Advancement of Women in Excellence.

This event was under the patronage of The Royal Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassim, and this event brought over 54 countries across the world together including many ambassadors of over 13 African countries and took place at the Habtoor Palace Dubai.
