Dr Genevieve Receives Hive Africa Community Support Award In Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria, Dr Mrs Genevieve Pearl Duncan Obuobi, a seasoned Ghanaian banker on Friday, 25 June, 2021 received the prestigious Hive Africa Community Support Award 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria.

 The Hive Africa Community Support Award was conferred on her at the 6th edition of the Hive Global Leaders Program in Africa which coincided with the Hive Africa 5th Year Anniversary.

Commenting on the award, CEO Hive Africa, Madam Grace Osula, said: “This is in recognition of your unalloyed and unflinching support in entrenching entrepreneurship development among women in Africa and your continued guidance in aiding the mission and goals of Hive Africa”.

In view of this, the Hive Africa Community Support Award 2021; dedicated to honouring outstanding achievement in entrepreneurship and leadership development in Africa, is conferred on you today”.

Madam Osula added: “It is our vision, that as Hive Africa continues to grow, this award would become the touchstone for entrepreneurship and youth leadership development excellence in Africa. Do accept our warm regards and hearty congratulations Madam”.

Receiving the award, Dr Obuobi who is a Branch Sales and Service Manager of Fidelity Bank Ghana, an author, coach, and champion of excellence customer service with professional experience spanning more than 15 years in the banking sector, thanked the organizers specially Madam Grace Osula, Henrietta, Joseph and all the team at HIVE Africa.

She also thanked all especially Ryan Allis chairman of Hive Global, USA for the continuous support.

Other award recipients were Ambassador Abayome  Mumuni, Ngosi Oyewole, Philanthropist Prince Felix Ameachi Obuah. They were equally honoured for their sterling contribution to the development of the African continent.

The three-day Hive Africa Global Leadership Conference held in Lekki at the Lily Gate hotel, Lagos was attended by leaders  from corporate, the business environment, government and young African leaders from different African countries including Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

The theme for the 6th Hive Global Leaders Program was focused on how young Leaders can Fast track Economic Growth in Africa Hive Global Leaders Program.

It is a transformational education program on integrating elements of entrepreneurship, leadership community, purpose, authentic relating, personal development, and global systems thinking.

It is designed to educate and connect leaders who are making a big impact in the world and create an environment in which these leaders can support one another throughout their lives journey and careers.

Some key speakers at the conference were Hon Femi Adeniregun who represented Ambassador Abayomi Mumuni, Mrs Gladys Otae Addo Osei, an assemblywoman for Ogbojo Electoral Area Accra, and Patrick Uduma .
