Vodafone Ghana CEO Chairs Board of Telecom Chamber

The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, an industry association of telecom companies in Ghana has appointed a new Board Chair, according to press release issued by the Chamber.

The Chamber has appointed Ms. Yolanda Cuba, the CEO of Vodafone Ghana, as Chairperson while Ebenezer Asante, the CEO of MTN Ghana is the new Vice Chair.

The release said the appointment of the two was based on a rotation system at the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting on August 2, 2016.

They take over from Ms. Roshi Motman, CEO of Tigo, and Mrs. Lucy Quist, CEO of Airtel, who served as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively, the release added.

The Chamber which was established five years ago, has the objective of collectively supporting governments with policy, regulatory and legislative inputs in order to grow the industry.
