Ghana Seizes 15,000 Second-hand Fridges

A total of 15,000 secondhand (used) refrigerators have, since June 2013, been confiscated and dismantled by Ghana’s Energy Commission (EC), in pursuance of  Legislative Instrument 1832 of 2008, which prohibits the importation of used refrigerators into the country.
