Kampala, Uganda, October 19, 2017/ — ENGIE and Fenix announced that they have agreed on a transaction in which ENGIE will acquire 100% of Fenix International, a next generation energy company, offering Solar Home Systems (SHS) in Africa.

100 MW Kathu Solar Project to Create 1,200 Jobs in South Africa

ENGIE announced that the Kathu Solar Park project in South Africa, owned by an ENGIE-led consortium with South African partners, has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Eskom – South Africa’s state owned power utility –making it possible for construction at the site to begin shortly.
