
Accra, Ghana, December 11, 2018//-The Association of Spouses of Heads of Missions (ASOHOM) and International Organisations has supported the Princess Marie Louise Hospital, a leading specialist health facility for children in Ghana with medical supplies.
The medical drugs and food supplements worth several thousands of cedis were donated to the managers of the hospital at a short ceremony in Accra.
Donating the items to senior officials of the hospital, the President of ASOHOM, Madam Richa Rao, said the donation of the medical supplies would help improve the medical stocks of the hospital.
He said: “We are very happy to present these medical products to the hospital as we celebrate Christmas some few days to come”.
It is in our DNA to give back to the community, Madam Rao added.

Receiving the items, the Medical Superintendent of the Princess Marie Louise Hospital, Dr Maame Nyarko thanked Madam Rao and her association for the donation.
She said: “We don’t have enough wheelchairs to transport sick children to the wards. But with the donation of the wheelchairs will go a long way help in the transportation of our children”.
Dr Nyarko assured that the medical supplies and wheelchairs would be put into good use”.
