Nigeria: Heirs Insurance Group Donates 30KVA Solar Power Station to Ikoyi Passport Office

Lagos, Nigeria//- Heirs Insurance Group has donated a 30KVA solar power station to the Lagos Passport Office of the Nigeria Immigration Service, to facilitate 24-hour passport production and issuance.

Dr. Awele V. Elumelu (OFR), Non-Executive Director, Heirs Holdings, the parent company of Heirs Insurance Group led a delegation from Heirs Holdings and Heirs Insurance Group, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, alongside the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs. Caroline Wura-ola Adepoju.

A major challenge faced by many is the delay in passport production and lengthy timelines in issuing a passport. With this solar project which will aid round-the-clock service, we hope this project eliminates the delays at the Ikoyi Passport Office.
