
Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has asked the Appointments Committee of Parliament to vet 10 deputy regional ministers to help him steer the affairs of the regions.
The Speaker of Parliament Prof. Mike Ocquaye who mentioned the names in Parliament on Friday conveyed the President’s call to the House to expedite approval of his nominations to help him set up his government.
Below are the names:
Elizabeth Sackey- Greater Accra Regional
Elizabeth Agyemang- Ashanti Regional Minister.
Solomon Boar-Northern Region
Amidu Issahaku – Upper West
Adongo Fusieni – Upper East
Evans Opoku – Brong Ahafo
Joseph Tetteh – Eastern Region
Eugenia Gifty Kusi – Western region
Thomas Agyei Baffour – Central Region
Maxwell Blagogee -Volta region
Parliament would announce a date for the vetting of these nominees by its Appointments Committee.
