MTN Ghana To Thrill Customers In Kumasi

MTN LogoMTN Ghana is once again organizing a big Easter concert to delight its customers. The annual musical concert, dubbed “MTN Choral Fest,” will be held for the third consecutive year and for the first time in Kumasi at the Dome, inside the Golden Bean Hotel on 5th April, 2015.

MTN Choral Fest is a gospel music event which is organized on Easter Sunday each year with the aim of delighting and inspiring MTN customers. The event brings together some of the finest gospel artistes and choirs in Ghana. The 2015 edition will feature artistes like Cecilia Marfo, Ernest Opoku and other seasoned gospel musicians.

Special Choral Fest invitations will be sent to select MTN customers and stakeholders in and around the Ashanti Region to attend the event on Easter Sunday.

In addition to the musical concert, there will also be a Mobile Money promotion during the season to encourage customers to transfer money to family and friends. Mobile Money customers who use the service to transfer cash from their wallet to another wallet will not be charged any transaction fees.

The Mobile Money promotion, open to MTN Mobile Money customers only, starts on the 2nd April and ends on 7th April, 2015. .

Commenting on the event, the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Ghana, Rahul De said, “MTN prides itself in bringing quality entertainment to music fans of all ages. MTN is thrilled to organize this event for the third time and to take it to Ghana’s second biggest city. For many of our customers Easter is a time to reflect on our faith, and music plays an important part.”

Mr. De added that the MTN Mobile Money promo will allow customers to send money to their loved ones during the Easter festivities without worrying about the transaction cost.
