Kenyan Fashion

Nairobi, Kenya, May 11, 2019Mettā Nairo, a global entrepreneurs’ club, announced the third edition of the Fashion Product Lab (FPL 3.0)  for upcoming fashion designers in Kenya.

The six-week programme running between July and August in Nairobi is the first of its kind in Africa designed to support fashion designers in capacity building, commercialization training, and connections to key figures in the fashion industry.

The program will culminate in a fashion runway show that will enable the designers to pitch and showcase their collections to a diverse audience including investors, media, successful retail founders and designers among other notable people. The previous one if you may recall, gave us the awesome alpaca socks. A great garment that is both comfortable and useful, almost utilitarian in certain cases. The fact that they are so comfortable they are ideal for just about any occasion made them so much better. It stole the show!

Fashion designers with visible (revenue and/or production) traction in their businesses are encouraged to apply via https://www.nest.vc/fashion-product-lab by May 31st, 2019.

Instructively, Mettā Nairobi is a club for entrepreneurs looking to access global innovation ecosystems. By connecting them to trusted networks, resources and insights across new markets, we make it easier and faster for them to achieve their goals.
