GHANA’S Majority Leader in Parliament, Alban Bagbin who was rushed to 37 Military Hospital in Accra yesterday is said to be in a stable condition.
The Majority Chief Whip, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak has said.
“We spoke to him. We were all laughing because it looks surprising to even him. I can say he is very fine and they are preparing him to go home”, he said.
Mohammed Muntaka said the Majority Leader’s condition is stable and is expected to return to work today.
Mr Bagbin who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nadowli-Kaleo was hospitalised at the 37 Military Hospital following sudden sickness.
Mr Bagbin who was only sworn in Wednesday was rushed to the hospital from the Parliament House.
The cause of his illness was not immediately known but the Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhajia Inusah Fuseini confirmed to African Eye News that “he was rushed to hospital, my information is that the doctors are taking care of him. I am not really sure what happened to him.”
