Accra, Ghana//-The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, has cautioned the public to disregard a design currently circulating on social media which falsely purports to come from the Authority.
In a brief statement on his official Facebook page, Mr. Kotey made it clear that the design “is not coming from DVLA” and urged the public not to associate the Authority with the unauthorised material.
“Please disregard this design. It’s not coming from DVLA. Thank you,” he wrote.
The DVLA boss encouraged the public to rely only on the Authority’s official communication channels for accurate information, stressing that management remains committed to transparency and credible service delivery.
The caution comes at a time when several state agencies have raised concerns over the misuse of their logos and materials for fraudulent or misleading purposes online.
