Ghana: COVID-19 Claims 17 Lives As Total Cases Stand At 2,074

Accra, Ghana, April 30, 2020//-COVID-19 has claimed 17 lives in Ghana as the country’s total case count jumped to  2,074 from 1, 550.

This depicts an increase of 403 new cases from the previous figure of 1,550. according to the the Ghana Health Service.

It added that  212 people have recovered from the deadly disease. One person died that caused the increase of the number of deaths to 17 from 16.

The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart with 1,795 infections. Followed by the Ashanti Region with 99 cases, Eastern Region has 70 cases, Central Region 21 cases, Oti, 19 and Upper East 19.

Volta region has 16 cases, Northern 13, Upper West, 10, Western 9, North East 2, and Western North 1.
