Ghana: CEO of Didiz Shapers Adjudged Outstanding Woman In Entrepreneurial Leadership

Accra, Ghana//-The Founder and CEO of Didiz Shapers, Ms Ladidi Hikimat Salifu, has been adjudged as the “Outstanding Woman In Entrepreneurial Leadership” for 2025 at the just-ended Ghana Business Women Conference & Awards held in Accra.

 

 The vibrant young entrepreneur’s Didiz Shapers (https://instagram.com/didiz.shapers?utm_source=ig_profile_share&igshid=1vtpqcdm02u84), a leading importing and beauty-enhancing company in Ghana, has devoted more than a decade to steering the growth and strategic expansion of her company and emerged among the top celebrated female executives at the awards night.

From a humble beginning, Didiz Shapers is now a household name in Ghana. Currently, it provides quality and durable but affordable Shapewears, postpartum & post surgery recovery garments, lingerie & accessories. and clothes for the female population in the West African country.

Ms Salifu, who started her business located at Spintex Road, a suburb of Accra, before graduating from the Central University, Ghana, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, now has two branches in the Greater Accra Region.

While plans are afoot to open more branches in other major cities of the country. Her zeal for entrepreneurship began at an early age, so she decided to set up the business.

Speaking with African Eye Report after receiving the award, Ms Salifu described the recognition as “refreshing, motivating and encouraging”.

She noted that the award is significant within the broader landscape of women’s leadership in Ghana and on the African continent.

Ms Salifu used the occasion to express her heartfelt gratitude to her customers for their loyalty and urged them to keep doing business with her company.

The Business Executive Group, the organisers of the event, awarded several distinguished women whose work continues to fuel Ghana’s economic progress across multiple industries.

The 2025 edition of the Ghana Business Women Conference and Awards, according to the organisers, assembled a powerful grouping of female leaders, industry captains, policymakers, innovators, and global business figures, among others.

This year’s event, they said, drew both local and international participants, reflecting the remarkable evolution of the awards since their inception in 2011.
