Expresso Ghana Suffers Another Blow

 

Airtel GhanaEXPRESSO Ghana, a telecom operator has suffered another blow this morning after Airtel cut services to its subscribers for failing to pay monies it owes it.

This is the second time within two weeks a telecom operator has cut ties with Expresso for failing to pay monies it owes under the Interconnect Agreement.

MTN Ghana, the leading telecom operator on the first of November undertook a similar move over Expresso’s failure to honour its financial obligation to it.

MTN Ghana said it would only restore services to Expresso when the debt was cleared.

It is no clear whether the other telecom operators Vodafone, Tigo and Glo will follow suit anytime soon.

When reached management of Expresso has declined to comment on the matter despite a directive from the National Communications Authority (NCA) asking it to clarify the true state of affairs to its subscribers.
