It will be a test for our political leadership, our public institutions and its professionals, and in return, a test of the level of trust the citizenry have in leadership and our institutions. It will be a test of our sense of nationalism and values. Ultimately, it will be a test on our systems and national psyche in general.”
“We don’t need Covid-19 to remind us that we need to build an efficient and robust health system. But maybe it will be a rude awakening to the powers that be to commit to building a functional democracy,” Mr Dange said.

As a former UN official and somebody who has been involved in international humanitarian programmes for a long time, I could not sit unconcerned at a time like this when my expertise is much needed.
Mr Dange with the youth
I am glad to have reach the good people of Damongo constituency with this preventive health programme before even government could get here. I felt fulfilled when health workers told me that had I not come they had no sanitizers and face masks. If health workers don’t have such basic supplies, you could just imagine the situation here.”
“I am thus putting my  campaign launch on hold following the directive of the President, and touring the constituency to sensitize the people and distribute some sanitizers and face masks to help them prevent infection. That’s my first step to demonstrating how much I care about them and their future,” the 2020 Independent Parliamentary Aspirant emphasized.
Apart from sensitizing the inhabitants and donating precautionary supplies to the them, his team is also going from place to place to register unemployed youth for HomeMakers Pro, a Hospitality company in Accra to employ them.
Last week, Mr Dange signed a partnership deal with HomeMakers Pro in Accra for the leading home care and management services provider to prioritise the employment needs of Damongo constituency in their recruitment process.
Group Chief Executive of Supreme Hospitality Limited, the parent company of HomeMakers Pro said at that meeting that the professional home  management and hospitality industry space is capable of providing over 10,000 jobs annually.
