Accra, Ghana, August 12, 2019//-The Chamber for Tourism Industry Ghana (CTI) Ghana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an accounting firm MKA Solutions to provide accounting softwares like free invoice tools to its members.
Madam Odelia Ofori, Founder and CEO of CTI Ghana, who signed for the Chamber, said through the partnership, 10 members of the Chamber would be provided with the softwares for free.
Also one month free subscription for others and a year payment plan had been agreed upon by both parties, according to her.
“That is not all with an 80% discount. The Chamber is happy because not only will it make our members solid for investment opportunities but stay compliant”, Madam Ofori added.
With the setting up of the Chamber for Tourism Industry Ghana, we hope to simply sell Ghana to the world and help boost revenues for the sector, not leaving out women, she said earlier.
On his part, the CEO of MKA Solutions, Michael Amoah, said he was happy to offering this service to make the tourism industry better and tax compliant.
According to UN statistics, tourism is one of the leading sectors employing more women and this has to continuously be a driving force for women.
