GHANA’S Majority Leader in Parliament, Alban Bagbin who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nadowli-Kaleo has been hospitalised at the 37 Military Hospital following sudden sickness.
Mr Bagbin who was only sworn in yesterday was rushed to the hospital from the Parliament House.
The cause of his illness was not immediately known but the Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhajia Inusah Fuseini confirmed to African Eye News that “he was rushed to hospital, my information is that the doctors are taking care of him. I am not really sure what happened to him.”
MP for Wa Central Abdul Rashid Pelpuo said Mr. Bagbin “was feeling dizzy and was sweating so he was rushed to the hospital.”
Earlier in the morning the Leader was seen presiding over a joint caucus meeting of the House which preceded today’s sitting. Leadership of the House has visited him at the hospital.
