Accra, August 28, 2017//-Some criminals clad in colours of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday evening vandalised the building of Believers House of Worship center at Okpoignor near the Spintex Road in Accra.
They also burned down the church structure without any provocation. A member of the church who was devastated by the incident blamed the attack on a woman who is battling the church over a parcel of land around the church premises.
“The hoodlums got out of their vehicle and started spreading petrol on the church while some of them chased us away”. he said.
According to him, “This is the third time that group wearing NPP smocks attacked the church”.
Meanwhile, no arrest has been made by the police.
