Accra, Ghana//-Ms Margaret Tekpor, popularly known as Maggie Wealthy, has been named by the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) as the Best Graduating Student In Marketing at the school’s 25th congregation.
She graduated with a Master of Marketing from the GIMPA Business School with a Cumulative Grade Point (CGPA) of 3.87. She therefore obtained a distinction in her chosen programme.
Before Ms Tekpor’s graduation on 20th December 2025, she was a course rep for the master’s programme and was the SRC treasurer at the GIMPA Tema Campus during her undergraduate studies.
Ms Tekpor is currently in business development at UCE Solutions (Uce Lifts) and the Founder of Maggie Wealthy Foundation, a charity organisation that focuses on elderly and orphan care.
She won the coveted ‘Ghana Outstanding Woman NGO of the Year’ award at the 6th Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA).
The event, which celebrates the achievements and contributions of remarkable women across various fields, saw her beat eight competitors to win the award held at the Accra International Conference Centre on 10 September 2023.
The star-studded event was described as a night to honour and celebrate the outstanding contributions of corporate women to society.
Ms Tekpor’s accolades reflect her exceptional dedication and commitment to her philanthropic and advocacy work.
She was also included in the 100 most influential change makers in Ghana for 2023.
Since 2020, Ms Tekpor has been involved in a lot of charity activities, including Breast and Prostate Cancer Education to Rural Volta, and supported Shelter For Abused Children in the Greater Accra Region.
Ms Tekpor used the opportunity to express her profound gratitude to his family and all those who supported her during her master programme journey.
