Abuja, Nigeria, April 8, 2020/ — Sixteen new cases of COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria.
Giving the breakdown, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said10 out of the new cases were recorded in Lagos.
While two new cases each was reported in the FCT, and Oyo. One each was also recorded in Delta and in Katsina.
As at 09:30 pm 7th April, there were 254 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in the Africa’s most populous country.
Meanwhile, 44 COVID-19 patients have been discharged with six deaths, according to the NCDC.
