MultiChoice, Samsung in Landmark HD Zapper Decoder Bundle Pact

Accra, June 02, 2017//-MultiChoice Ghana has entered an HD Zapper decoder bundle partnership with Samsung Ghana and Comsat Technologies, an accredited DStv dealer in the country.

Announcing the partnership at the MultiChoice ultral-modern office in Accra today, the two global brands said under the deal both would provide excellent services and products to their customers.

Speaking at the launch event for this unique partnership, Cecil Sunkwa Mills, General Manager, Multichoice Ghana said:  “Our mission is to deliver value to our customers by making great entertainment more accessible through partnerships like this one with Samsung.”

We join hands with Samsung today to bring into the homes of everyone who purchases a Samsung S8 handset an HD Zapper decoder with two months of the access bouquet on DStv, he added.

Mr Sunkwa Mills emphasised: ” As a video entertainment company, our role is to enrich livesand with this partnership we envisage happier customers, not only because their homes will be charged with the riveting soccer, movies, news and kid’s edutainment on DStv but also from the increased productivity the Samsung S8 handset guarantees users.”

On his part, Tetteh Akornor,  Product Manager in-charge of HHP at Samsung Electronics West Africa Ltd-Ghana Office, said through the partnership the two brands were ensuring that their customers would abreast with the latest movies and information.

Customers who purchase the Samsung S8 handset can download and install the DStv Now App on their handset which would allow them to watch live DStv on-the-goimmediately their account is activated on the decoder that comes with the phone. That’s not all, these customers can also link up to fourmore android or IOS devices (tablets, desktop, etc.) to their account to also enjoy DStv’s fantastic programmes at no additional cost.
