
Accra, September 15, 2017//-The Managing Director of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), Kenneth Ashigbey has tendered in his resignation letter to the National Media Commission (NMC).
Mr Ashigbey wrote to employer (NMC) to relinquish his post. In a letter dated September 14, 2017, he assured staff of GCGL that its leadership “is secure and all our plans are progressing very well”.
However, Mr Ashigbey is yet to get a response from the NMC over his resignation. “I am still awaiting that response and I will inform you accordingly,” he stated in his letter to the staff.
Mr Ashigbey was appointed Managing Director of GCGL in November 2011 for an initial four-year term. Prior to that appointment, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Multimedia Group Limited, headed Joy FM between 2003 and 2006, and was the Managing Director for Optimum Media Prime (OMP), a sports media firm.
