BOMBSHELL! MP For Yendi Fingered For Allegedly Pocketing GHC60k Meant for NPP Chairman

MP for Yendi Constituency, Farouk Aliu Mahama

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Yendi Constituency, Farouk Aliu Mahama has been fingered in an audio recording for allegedly squandering an amount of GHC60,000 meant for the Northern Regional Chairman of governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mohammed Bantima popularly called Samba.

The amount was meant to support the campaign of Samba during the party’s recent regional elections.

In the recording, which is available to African Eye Report, the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong alleged that; whiles in America, he gave an amount of GHC100,000 to Farouk Aliu Mahama to be given to Chairman Samba; then as an aspirant for the Chairmanship position of NPP-N/R.

The Assin Central MP explained that; Samba gave him a message acknowledging receipt of GHC40,000 instead of GHC100,000 as sent to him through Farouk Aliu Mahama.

Per the narration of the Assin Central legislator who is gurning to become the flagbearer of the NPP in the 2024 presidential election, the amount falls short of GHC60,000.

So, concerned constituents of the great Yendi Constituency are demanding answers to the allegation from the quarters of their Member of Parliament; Farouk Aliu Mahama Mahama.

They are therefore asking him to come out to clear the dirt this has bestowed on their revered Constituency.

Is it the “Talk and Do”, we were promised? They questioned their MP who is also the Board Chair of the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Corporation.
